Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate
Job Overview
Twin City Seed Company is looking for a reliable delivery driver/warehouse associate who is concerned with customer satisfaction and transporting items in a safe, timely manner. The delivery driver/warehouse associate will pick up and drop off items while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules. You should be willing to work as part of the warehouse team to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct customer.

Twin City Seed Company specializes in a variety of seed mixtures for home lawns, golf courses, roadsides, native areas, sports fields, and forage plots. Twin City Seed was established and has been servicing Minnesota since 1992.

Responsibilities and Duties
Delivery Driver:

• Loading, transporting, and delivering items to customers or businesses in a safe timely manner.
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the customer is satisfied.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items form vehicles.
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from customers.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operating equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.

 
Warehouse Associate:

• Welcome delivery trucks.
• Receive and track shipments.
• Load and unload products in delivery trucks using appropriate tools.
• Track and document exact shipment arrival and departure times.
• Tag and label products.
• Label and stockpile products according to size and type.
• Box, wrap, and pack products in accordance with relevant procedures and standards.
• Prepare all orders for shipment.
• Manage all impaired or damaged product items.
• Operate adequate products management tools (e.g. Forklift, blenders, small pack).

 
Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• Experience transporting with trailer is preferred.
• Forklift operation experience preferred.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items for extended periods.
• Attention to detail.
• Team player.
• Problem solver.
